People were friendly. Location was central. They had bag storage and a decent sized family bedroom. The buildings were interesting. Nice high ceilings. Kept to a cheap hostel standard. I couldn't ask for more for the $. Very happy.

I found this hostel perfect for my needs. I needed to be close to the hospital. I found the the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean although small. All I need was a bed so that didn't matter. I am middle aged and a little apprehensive about staying at a back packers hostel. The guests that were staying where of all ages and well behaved so I felt very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and kitchen facilities were great. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for budget accommodation.

Basically, in the heart of newtown, a short walk from the station lies this little gem. You get what you pay for, we stayed in a three bed (one double, one bunk) private bathroom, and whilst not 5 staresque cleanliness standard, it was well looked after, even had a reset halfway through our 5 day stay which was a lovely surprise. The reception was wonderful, so helpful and was easy to converse with, and most of the residents abided by the quiet hours, but it was the weekend so I didn't hold it agaainst the one or two cheers and conversation. They have kitchen and laundry amenities, restaurants in pretty much any direction, not bad for 600 for the 3 of us.

Anyone giving this hostel a 1 star review is a wimp. Cheap hostel in a great location, if you're expecting the staff to fan you as you have grapes dropped directly into your mouth youre delusional. It's not the Taj Mahal but it's a total vibe and I've never had any problems staying there. I think you need to accept the place as it is and just enjoy your life instead of whining that the staff didn't kiss you goodbye xx

Great location, friendly people. Did get very noisy through the night, but people were having fun. If you want a nice quiet place to stay, this ain't it. But for me, I loved it.

Disagree with the negative feedbacks. I've spent 2 lovely nights in here. Decent price, clean and comfy rooms, quiet and nice hostel's vibe located in a beautiful area of Sydney. Staff helpful and friendly! Nati is simply a legend :) Definitely worth it! Cheers See ya soon

Best place to sleep if your travelling, taking a break, 28 day stays are the longest, international travellers, big rest room with tv, beds, books, board games, pool

I lost an earing and I realised it after my check out, so I called the reception to ask if they might have found it, Cedric who attended my call in reception was very helpful and did everything he could to find my earing...so grateful!! Great service from him.
